HSL Reittiopas -hakuruutu

Joukkoliikenteen pikahaku suoraan selaimeesi

Firefox 2 ja Internet Explorer 7 -selaimista lähtien olemme tottuneet näppärään hakuruutuun, joka löytyy selainikkunan ylänurkasta. Sen tutun Googlen lisäksi hakuruudun avulla voi hakea tietoa lähes mistä tahansa palvelusta. Hakupalvelua pääset vaihtamaan klikkaamalla hakupalvelun kuvaketta ja valitsemalla palvelun avautuvasta listasta.

Monilla WWW-sivuilla löytyykin toiminto, jolla hakutoiminnon voi lisätä selaimeensa. Kaikissa palveluissa tätä OpenSearch -määrittelyä ei kuitenkaan ole: HSL:n Reittiopas on palvelu, jota ei voi lisätä selaimen hakuruutuun Reittioppaan omilla sivuilla.

Reittioppaan saat lisättyä selaimesi hakuruutuun alla olevan lomakkeen avulla:

1. Täytä lomakkeeseen Reittiopas-haussa käytettävä kiinteä lähtöosoite ("mistä") yllä olevaan kenttään. (Selaimesi hakuruutu tulee hakemaan Reittioppaasta reitin alkaen aina tästä vakiopaikasta.)
   
• Tämä vakio-osoite voi olla esim. koti, työpaikka, tms. Useimmiten se on juuri se paikka missä juuri nyt olet.
• Mikäli haluat hakea hakuruudun avulla reittejä alkaen myös jostain toisesta lähtöpaikasta, täytä lomake toisen kerran. Voit lisätä selaimesi hakuruutuun niin monta lähtöpaikkavaihtoehtoa kuin haluat.
2. Valitse kieli, millä haluat hakutulokset esitettävän.
3. Paina Lisää selaimen hakuruutuun... -näppäintä. Hyväksy hakutoiminnon lisäys selaimesi niin kysyessä.
4. Reittiopas-hakutoiminto on valmis käytettäväksi:
• Klikkaa hakuruudussa olevaa hakupalvelun kuvaketta ja valitse uusi Reittiopas-hakutoiminto. Sen nimenä on kohdassa 1 ilmoittamasi lähtöosoite.
• Syötä hakuruutuun haluamasi määränpää ja käynnistä haku.
• Reittioppaan sivu avautuu ja näyttää reittivaihtoehdot antamaasi määränpäähän. Jos halutat nähdä reitin toiseen suuntaan (eli "kotiinpäin"), paina sivulla olevaa Hae paluureitti -linkkiä.
  

Add Helsinki Region Transport's (HSL) Journey Planner in the search box of your browser

Since Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 7 browsers we have used to use the handy search box on the top of the browser window. In addition to the well-known Google the search box can be used to search almost any information. You can select the search provider by clicking the search provider icon and selecting the provider from the pop-up list.

You can find a function to add a search provider to your browser on many web sites. Although this OpenSearch description cannot be found on all web sites: the Journey Planner by HSL is a site that cannot be added in the search box by default.

To add the HSL Journey Planner in the search box of your web browser, follow these instructions:

1. Enter a fixed "From" address to be used in your Journey Planner queries in the form above. (The search box of your web browser will always retrieve a journey starting from this fixed location.)
• This fixed address could be e.g. home, office, etc. Usually it is the place where you currently are.
• If you often need to search journeys starting also from some other address, refill the form for second time. You can add as many starting addresses in the search box as you like.
2. Choose the language for the Journey Planner results.
3. Click on the submit button. Accept the new search provider when your web browser asks you to confirm the operation.
4. The HSL Journey Planner search box is ready for use:
• Click the search provider icon and select  the new Journey Planner search provider. Its name is the "From" address you typed in step 1 above.
• Type the destination address in the search box and execute the search.
• The Journey Planner results page will open showing the journey suggestions to the specified destination. If you want to see the journeys in opposite direction ("back to home"), click the Return connection link.
