"Go to" menu for DCT-3 phones

Add DCT-4-like "Own links" menu in your phone

When the "Own links" function is enabled, "Go to" menu replaces the "Names" function on the rightmost soft key. (If your phone has only one Navi™ key, the Go to menu pops up by pressing the C key when the phone is idle.) The "Go to" menu can be added to the phone main menu, too.

The contents of the Go to menu can be modified (add, delete, and sort links) with the phone on-the-fly. This differentiates this script from other scripts providing quick shortcuts to phone functions: With "Go to" menu you can change your links according to your daily/weekly preferences, e.g. keep your current favorite game on the top of the "Go to" menu without re-flashing the phone whenever you get fed up with it and switch to another one.

On phones with two soft keys, the script creates also a definition for the built-in "Names" function. You can use it to add the "Names" function in the main menu if you like access it without disabling the "Go to" menu first. See the script help for details.

There is not enough (9 bytes) free EEPROM space e.g. on Nokia 3310 (NHM-5) by default. As a workaround, you need to include the adjust_nokia_screen_savers.nrx script into your processing list to free some EEPROM space if you are using a 3310 (not required for Nokia 3330). See the help of adjust_nokia_screen_savers.nrx for more information.

CAUTION: Trying to modify the built-in firmware of a mobile phone may make it practically unrepairable. This applies especially to phones that does not have a separate EEPROM chip for settings and calibrations (e.g. most Nokia 3xxx phones). Before trying to update the flash memory, you need to understand the functions of your flashing program and the whole flashing process, including any checksum updates required. NuukiaWorld does not give any support in flashing-related questions.
